This is a 3 Piece Adapter set for reading BMW MEVD17.2.x data 

Using these adapters, you can connect to the DME on the bench. With the Autel IM608 programmer tool and the Autel G BOX2, read the DME ISN(no need to open the DME) or clone the DME.

 If you are a locksmith, this is useful when performing All Keys Lost. You don't have to spend time removing the DME from the vehicle. You just need to pull out the original DME female connector and insert the adapter into the DME to get the ISN through the Autel G BOX2  and Autel IM608

How to read BMW MSV80 ISN using the VVDI2 BMW key programmer

• Connect BMW DME with the VVDI2 using the BMW ISN reading cable
• Go to the key learn section in the VVDI2, then select ECU ISN reading
• Select the BMW DME Type you need to read the ISN
• Press Read BMW ECU information
• The VVDI 2 will show you the BMW ECU info
• Press Read BMW DME ISN
• BMW ISN code reading required approximately 8 minutes
• After BMW ISN reading success the VVDI2 will show the DME ISN code
• Save the BMW ISN code to process with the BMW smart key programming
